During the visit of the head of Innovation and Prosperity Fund to the 20th International Metallurgy Exhibition (Iran Metafo), two knowledge-based products were unveiled.
According to Iran Economist, Dr. Mohammad Sadegh Khayatian, the head of Zohar Innovation Fund today (Sunday, December 5, 1402) visited the achievements of 21 knowledge-based companies in the field of knowledge-based companies at the 20th International Metallurgy Exhibition (Iran Metafo) and unveiled two products produced by two knowledge-based companies.
Production of “Tandish Zirconia Nozzle” to meet the needs of steel and foundry industries
Tandish nozzles are refractories that are placed in the bottom of the tandish (middle plate) and are responsible for guiding the molten flow from the tandish to the casting mold. This product is widely used in steel and foundry industries.
Ehsan Meshkati, the CEO of this knowledge-based company regarding the applications of this product, said: Parts made of zirconia are used in various industries, especially steel, foundry, and medicine due to their shock resistance, stress resistance, and high temperature tolerance. For example, in the field of medicine, these parts are used to make implant pills and in the steel industry to make nozzles for passing melt.
He added: Although the knowledge-based product “Tandish Zirconia Nozzle” is only used for the steel and casting industry, the technical knowledge that our researchers have achieved can be used in other fields as well. The company that produces this product is the first company that has succeeded in registering the technical knowledge of producing parts from zirconia. The knowledge-based principle of this product is based on the formation of zirconia parts. After stabilizing and stabilizing, zirconia powder is used to make different parts.
The CEO of this company noted: All countries that are active in the field of steel production must have the technical knowledge to produce this product. For example, Russia, China, India and European countries should be able to produce zirconia parts. In Iran, due to the fact that the steel and foundry industries are growing and due to the import of this product from abroad, the need to produce it inside the country was strongly felt.
Referring to the ability of this company to provide part of the needs of the country’s steel and foundry industry, Meshkati said: “We have not yet reached the development phase and currently 10,000 pieces are produced in this complex every month.” However, if we receive appropriate facilities, purchase equipment and enter the production development phase, we will be able to produce 50,000 pieces per month, which will benefit domestic artisans, help meet domestic needs, provide youth employment, and help the entire country. In this direction, we need the all-round support of those in charge.
Rapid detection of metal scraps in production lines of various industries with the knowledge-based product “Metallic Detector”
“IB-Metal Detector Industrial Metal Detector” produced by another company was another knowledge-based product that was unveiled in the presence of the head of Innovation and Prosperity Fund.
The industrial metal detector is used in mining and steel industries, and by detecting metal waste in the production lines of various industries, it directly increases productivity and improves the quality of the final product.
Seyed Ahmed Saif Al-Husseini, CEO of this knowledge-based company, said about the applications of this device: Industrial metal detector or metal detector, a device with the purpose of detecting metal waste in the production lines of various industries, including mining, food and medicine, textiles, rubber and Plastic and security.
Quoting from the public relations of the Innovation and Prosperity Fund, he added: the industrial metal detector works using different technologies, including low frequency, multi-frequency and pulsed, etc., that achieving pulsed performance requires very high technical knowledge and in mines Iron ore is used and it is capable of distinguishing scraps such as excavator nails and drill bits, etc. from the original product (iron ore). This separation process directly leads to increased productivity, improved quality of the final product, reduced stoppage of the production line and, as a result, increased line speed. At the same time, it indirectly has a significant impact on reducing energy consumption and preserving the environment.
