Solving the problem of accumulation in foundry industries by opening a sand recycling unit

The General Director of Environment of Zanjan province said: The sand recycling project was opened with 125 billion Rials and with this measure the problem of sand recycling in this unit was solved.

According to Imna reporter, Mohammad Reza Yaphedian, on Sunday, the 5th of Shahrivar, during the operation ceremony of the this project in Abhar city, which was held in the presence of the governor of Zanjan, stating that this project can be implemented as a developed industry using the recycling of consumables.

He stated: This recycling industry is one of the indicators of development and wealth.
The General Director of Environmental Protection of Zanjan Province said: This project was implemented by following the environment and by paying a loan from the National Environmental Fund.

Furthermore, the CEO of Iran Khodro Aluminum Casting Company added: One of the concerns of casting factories is the environmental pollution caused by sand waste from the production process, and we implemented a this plan using the capacity of experts.

Shahriari clarified: The advantages of implementing this plan are eliminating the cost of buying 50 million tons of sand per day, extracting 50 kg of aluminum per day from the lumps and sand used in the casting process.

He mentioned a significant reduction in the purchase of internal waste and a reduction in the amount of alkaline sand oxides as the benefits of this plan.

Shahriari said: This recycling plan includes sand recycling, mechanical crushing, sifting of crushed sand, transfer and storage of sand, thermal recycling of sand, cooling and screening of sand particles and final storage.
