According to the public relations report of this company, the implementation of the steel project with the production capacity of 600,000 tons of steel ingots has gained a significant speed; In such a way that now, in addition to the installation of the metal frame, etc., the installation of equipment is being carried out at the same time with the aim of increasing the speed of the project implementation.

The steelmaking project of Sarmad Abarkooh Iron and Steel Industries Company using Electric Arc Furnace (EAF), Ladle Furnace (LF), Continuous Casting (CCM) and all ancillary units including water supply system, dust collection and oxygen unit is being implemented and now It has a physical development of 64%. It should be noted that the installed weight in the mechanical part of the project is estimated to be nearly two thousand tons.

In the metal frame section, the installation of 10,154 tons of structures has been done so far, and at the same time, the installation of the mechanical and electrical sections, as well as the roof covering of the main hall, is also being constructed. The amount of concreting done in this project is 68,788,000 cubic meters, and in the field of electricity, nearly 1,600 meters of trays have been laid.

Sarmad Abarkooh Iron and Steel Industries Company is considered to be one of the few companies that has succeeded in simultaneously installing the steel plant’s skeleton and equipment, and this issue has greatly increased the progress of the project. It should be noted that the hot test of the production line of the coiling project with an annual production capacity of 450,000 tons of wire and coils was successfully completed in the last week of September, and this company is also conducting a direct regeneration project with an annual production capacity of 1,200,000 tons of sponge iron. has

It should be noted that currently Sarmad Abarkooh Iron and Steel Industries Company is one of the subsidiaries of Chadormello Mining and Industrial Company (Kachad) with 52% ownership and Tajli Mining and Metals Development Company (Tajli) with 48% ownership. Since Mines and Metals Development Investment Company (Vamadan) is the owner of 17.4% of Kechad and 57% of Tejali Company, therefore, now Vamadan indirectly owns 36% of Sarmad Abarkouh Iron and Steel Industries Company.
